AfD MP Risch at Neo-Fascist Congress in Russia - AfD's Robert Risch Attends Neo-Fascist Conference, Sparks Outrage

AfD's Robert Risch, a member of the Hamburg city assembly, has been exposed for attending a neo-fascist conference in St. Petersburg, Russia. The event, held in September 2022, saw the formation of an 'international league of globalization opponents', the Paladins. Risch's attendance has sparked outrage and calls for his resignation.

Risch's presence at the conference was revealed by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE/RL) through an analysis of event photos. The conference was attended by far-right politicians from Germany, France, Italy, Mexico, Spain, and South Africa. Risch initially did not respond to inquiries about his attendance.

The AfD parliamentary fraction and party have announced an investigation into Risch's actions and will take necessary consequences. Meanwhile, Dennis Gladiator of the CDU has called for Risch's resignation from his office and expulsion from the AfD fraction. Left fraction's Deniz Celik described the Hamburg AfD as an anti-democratic party and part of an international extreme right-wing network, questioning why the constitutional protection office in Hamburg has not classified the AfD as a suspected case.

Risch's attendance at the neo-fascist conference has raised serious concerns and sparked investigations within the AfD and calls for his resignation from other political parties. The incident has put a spotlight on the activities of the AfD and its potential links to international far-right networks.
