Aevi and Verifone Team Up to Revolutionize Payments for Small Businesses

Aevi and Verifone have announced a strategic partnership to simplify in-person payments for small business ideas. The collaboration aims to help merchants expand across Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and North America without the usual complications of fragmented systems. Both companies will combine their technologies to offer a smoother, more flexible online payments experience.

The partnership brings together Verifone’s global range of advance auto parts and operational services with Aevi’s cloud-based platform. This integration allows merchants to use Verifone terminals across multiple regions while managing everything through Aevi’s system. The solution supports all major in-person payment scenarios, from standard card transactions to local and alternative payment methods.

Aevi’s platform also provides access to advanced payment flows and a modular ecosystem of tools. This means small business ideas can adapt their payment setups without needing separate integrations for each region or device brand. The company’s terminal management system further enables enterprises to oversee and update payment hardware from different manufacturers in one place.

Verifone contributes its white-glove services, covering end-to-end deployment, onboarding, installation, and logistics. Merchants can now rely on a single partner for both hardware and software needs, reducing complexity. Rajeev Yerukalapudi, Verifone’s EVP and Global Head of Strategy & Partnerships, highlighted that the partnership enhances the flexibility of Verifone’s device ecosystem.

Alex Benjamin, General Manager of Aevi, added that the collaboration speeds up innovation in the payment industry. By addressing challenges like fragmentation and proprietary integrations, the two companies aim to make cross-border payment expansion easier for small business ideas of all sizes.

The partnership between Aevi and Verifone removes barriers for merchants looking to grow internationally. With a single integration, businesses can deploy payment devices across regions while accessing local payment options and advanced features. The combined offering is set to streamline operations and improve efficiency for in-person transactions.
