Aerosmith set to unveil new music after more than ten years, collaborating with Yungblud
Aerosmith, the iconic rock band, is making a comeback with a new song titled "My Only Angel." The collaboration with British artist Yungblud promises an exciting blend of classic rock and contemporary music.
In a recent interview with Trunk Nation, Joe Perry discussed the potential for a final Aerosmith show, hinting that it's just a matter of getting Steven Tyler to the show. Tyler, known for his energetic performances, seems up for the challenge, with Perry expressing his belief that the frontman could perform a full show.
The video teaser for "My Only Angel" has been released, offering a sneak peek into the collaboration. The teaser shows Tyler and Yungblud singing together in the studio, with Tyler exclaiming "Nice! Good! Fuckin' A!" and "Shit! Hallelujah!" in typical rock 'n' roll fashion. Yungblud adds his own enthusiasm, saying "Fucking great, man!"
Yungblud and Tyler's camaraderie extends beyond the studio, as they were seen sharing a playful moment in the teaser, with Yungblud planting a kiss on Tyler's cheek. This isn't the first time Yungblud has shared the stage with Aerosmith members; he previously performed at Black Sabbath's Back To The Beginning show in July.
Last week, Yungblud performed alongside Tyler and Perry at MTV's Video Music Awards, further fuelling speculation about the collaboration. The new song is now available for pre-save, promising an exciting addition to Aerosmith's discography, which hasn't seen a new release since their 2012 album "Music from Another Dimension!"
The next Aerosmith album, after more than a decade, is called "One More Time." This project marks the band's first collaboration with Yungblud, and is set to be released on November 21. Perry, however, seems hesitant about putting the set list together for the final Aerosmith show, expressing that he's not looking forward to it.
In addition to his work with Aerosmith, Tyler has been busy with other projects. In 2023, he recorded with Dolly Parton for her "Rockstar" album. With the release of "My Only Angel" and the upcoming album "One More Time," it seems Aerosmith is far from retiring, and fans can expect more music from the legendary band.
According to Perry, there will likely be at least one more Aerosmith show, promising a fitting end to the band's storied career. Fans eagerly await more details about the final show and the release of "One More Time."
