Aerosmith and Yungblud reveal partnership specifics for upcoming project
Yungblud, the British singer-songwriter, has taken to Instagram to share some exciting news about his upcoming project. The post, which can be found on his account @yungblud, does not provide any new information about the One More Time EP, but it certainly piques the interest of fans.
Last week, Yungblud had a guest spot at MTV's Video Music Awards, where he performed alongside Tyler and Perry. This performance was a testament to his growing popularity in the music industry.
The One More Time EP, scheduled for release on November 21, 2024, is a collaboration with none other than the legendary rock band Aerosmith. This marks a significant departure from Yungblud's usual genre, adding an exciting twist to his music.
The EP will be released on CD and vinyl, with signed and coloured vinyl variants available for pre-order now. The first single from the EP, "My Only Angel," a collaboration between Aerosmith and Yungblud, will be available on streaming platforms this Friday.
"My Only Angel" is not the only new track on the EP. One More Time will also include three other new tracks: "Problems," "Wild Woman," and "A Thousand Days." The EP will feature a remix of Aerosmith's 1976 classic "Back in the Saddle."
The producer of the EP is Mark Schwartz, known for his work with artists like Weezer, blink-182, and Paramore. This collaboration promises a unique blend of Yungblud's contemporary sound and Aerosmith's iconic rock style.
Interestingly, Aerosmith announced their retirement from touring in 2024 due to vocal cord injury. However, they have performed live since then, including with the Black Crowes in London last year. Their collaboration with Yungblud suggests that they are still active in the music scene.
Yungblud's last recording was a collaboration with Dolly Parton on her 2023 album "Rockstar." This collaboration with Aerosmith further cements his position as a versatile artist, willing to explore different genres and collaborations.
The caption of the Instagram post reads "A post shared by YUNGBLUD (@yungblud)". The post does not contain any advertisements, suggesting that it is a genuine announcement from Yungblud himself.
Most recently, Yungblud performed at Black Sabbath's Back To The Beginning show in July. This performance showcased his ability to adapt to various music styles and solidified his place as a rising star in the music industry.
With the release of the One More Time EP, fans can look forward to a unique blend of contemporary and classic rock music. The EP promises to be a exciting addition to Yungblud's discography and a testament to his versatility as an artist.
