Aerial vehicles scour the area in pursuit of a suspected large feline.

In the region near Geiseltalsee, Saxony-Anhalt, buzzing drones have taken to the skies in chase of a potential feisty feline member of the big cat family. As confirmed by district rep, Sabine Faulstich of the Saale district, there's a whopping 80% certainty it's a puma on the loose. No joke, three teams equipped with drones are currently patrolling the area, keeping their eyes peeled for the elusive predator.

Once spotted, an expert will administer a tranquilizer and haul it off to a fancy zoo. That's right – this big cat is bound for the bigtop!

Faulstich's insisted that the videos circulating on social media are as authentic as they come, with no hint of trickery involved. The locals are encouraged to keep their distance and stick to built-up areas, just to be on the safe side. After all, the last thing anyone wants is a run-in with a riled-up big cat!

The actual location of the big cat sighting was first reported on Monday afternoon in Saxony-Anhalt, but the search efforts are still ongoing in the area where the beast was initially spotted. So if you live nearby, keep your cameras at the ready – you never know when the show might come to town!

On a final note, depending on which source you believe, the mysterious creature could go by either "puma" or "cougar," with both terms used interchangeably for certain big cat species. The big cat is still not officially confirmed to be in the southern part of Saxony-Anhalt, but rumors suggest the search is on in that region. Stay tuned for more updates!

On a suggestive note, the cougar or puma, as it's also known, might find itself joining a sports team in a fancy zoo's big top performance.

Regardless of the final confirmation, some rumors hint at possible sightings in the southern part of Saxony-Anhalt, which could potentially turn the area into a hotspot for sports enthusiasts.
