A 13-year-old kid, not exactly a poster boy for responsibility, brandished a blade at a 15-year-old in a bustling skate park in Lippstadt. Apparently, he gave the older kid a jab on the arm and leg with his pocket knife, but the police report wasn't exactly pouring over deep wounds.
Then, a 16-year-old, supposedly his sidekick, cashed in on the chaos, requesting cigarettes and some scratch from the 15-year-old. Spooked, the 15-year-old, accompanied by his two buddies, took off like a bat out of hell, seeking help from any bystander willing to lend a hand. These heroes managed to disarm the teenager of his weapon.
The cops nabbed the two suspects post-incident, on a Tuesday evening.
The skate park incident in Lippstadt earned itself a nasty label - juvenile delinquency - thanks to the 13-year-old's misdeeds. The police had to beef up their patrols in the area as youth crime was on the rise.
