"Admits Destruction of Muridke Camp: LeT Commander Affirms Plans for Reconstruction and Expansion following Operation Sindoor"

In a chilling development, a video has surfaced, dated September 19, 2025, featuring an unidentified militant leader named Qaasim. The video, yet to be independently verified, urges youths to join the Daura-e-Suffa program, a training programme offering basic combat training and indoctrination.

The video's emergence comes amidst the ruins of the Markaz Subhan Allah headquarters in Bahawalpur, a site linked to several high-profile attacks, including the Pulwama incident in 2019. Jaish-e-Mohammed commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri admitted to the destruction of this very headquarters during Operation Sindoor.

The Markaz Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur served as the main indoctrination site for Jaish-e-Mohammed since 2015. Its destruction during Operation Sindoor was not a recent event; it occurred on July 29, 2022.

Interestingly, the Markaz Taiba complex, established in 2000, is described as Lashkar-e-Taiba's most significant training centre. Similar to the Markaz Subhan Allah, the Markaz Taiba complex provided arms, physical training, and radicalization for recruits from both within Pakistan and abroad. India claims that its strikes targeted nine sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, these locations being active terror hubs, with the Markaz Taiba complex in Muridke being one of them.

The video is part of a series of confessions by militant leaders following Operation Sindoor, suggesting a possible shift in the power dynamics of militant organisations in the region. However, it is crucial to note that the authenticity of the video and the identity of the speaker remain unverified.
