Adjara's Eco-Tourism and Cuisine Captivate Polish Travelers at Wrocław Fair
Adjara, a scenic region in Georgia, recently showcased its tourism potential at an international fair in Wrocław. The event drew attention from Polish travellers, with a focus on eco-tourism and local cuisine. Over three days, visitors explored travel options presented by Georgian officials and private businesses. The Wrocław exhibition hosted more than 200 tourism companies and destinations from across Europe. Adjara's stand, organised by the region's Tourism Department, highlighted its mountainous landscapes, cultural heritage, and eco-friendly travel routes. Polish visitors showed particular interest in these offerings, alongside Georgia's well-known culinary traditions.
Adjara's participation aimed to strengthen ties with Poland, a key market for the region. Direct flights between the two countries have already boosted visitor numbers. In 2025, Polish arrivals to Adjara increased by 24% compared to the previous year. International exhibitions remain a priority for Georgia's tourism promotion. The Adjara Tourism Department plans to attend up to 10 such events in 2025, building on the success of the Wrocław fair.
The Wrocław fair reinforced Adjara's appeal among Polish travellers. Detailed information about the region's eco-tourism and gastronomy was shared with hundreds of visitors. With growing interest and improved flight connections, the region expects further increases in tourism from Poland.
