Adidas Unveils Trionda: The Official Match Ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Adidas has unveiled the official match ball for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, named Trionda. The ball, designed to represent the host nations USA, Mexico, and Canada, is set to make its debut on June 11, 2026, when the tournament kicks off.

The Trionda ball features a striking design in red, green, and blue, symbolising the three host countries. Its unique construction includes extra-deep seams for even air resistance and optimal flight stability. Additionally, it boasts a 500-Hz motion sensor to aid referees in real-time decision-making.

To enhance performance in various weather conditions, the Trionda has imprinted symbols that improve grip, especially in wet or humid situations. This innovation is set to benefit players and fans alike during the first World Cup with 48 teams in the final round, taking place from June 11 to July 19, 2026.

As the 2026 World Cup approaches, football enthusiasts worldwide eagerly await the debut of the Trionda ball. While Germany has yet to secure its spot in the tournament, the new ball promises an exciting and innovative addition to the sport's biggest stage.
