The exciting news was announced recently. During their Mallorcan adventure, HSV will square off against Spanish La Liga club RCD Mallorca in a friendly match on August 9 at the RCD Stadium "Son Moix." Don't miss this clash – spectators can catch it live! However, training sessions will be hosted behind closed doors due to local conditions.
Kuntz: "Sharpening the Last Details"
With training sessions held in Hamburg since July 2, the team will then visit Herzogenaurach from July 14 to 19 for their first preparatory camp. Sporting director Stefan Kuntz opined, "It's crucial for us to hold another training camp at this juncture to fine-tune our performance, bond as a team, and polish off the final details."
The HSV had already spent a few days in Mallorca back in March to recharge before their final sprint in the 2. Bundesliga. The initial round of the DFB-Pokal welcomes HSV on August 16, as they go up against Oberliga side FK Pirmasens. The 2025/26 Bundesliga season officially begins on August 22.
