Looking ahead to the new season, 1. VFL Potsdam, a club in the Handball-Bundesliga, is determined to bring about change. After Maxim Orlov and David Cyrill Akakpo, five more players will bid their farewells to the team as announced by the club themselves.

Among those leaving are goalkeepers Martin Tomovski and Mark Ferjan, backcourt players Emil Hansson and Ole Schramm, and center back Sergej Gorpishin. With Orlov moving to Hannover and Akakpo joining HSG Wetzlar, the new destinations for the remaining five remain a mystery for now.

Sports director Bob Hanning stated, "The second half of our season highlighted the need for a restructuring. While it's never easy, it's always necessary. We've got to shake off the old habits and forge a new path. We're confident in our trainer and are ready to embark on this new journey."
