Actress Pamela Bach, formerly married to David Hasselhoff, passes away at age 62.
Pamela Bach, an actress known for her roles in "Baywatch" and other television projects, died by suicide on March 5, 2025, at her home in Los Angeles. She was 62 years old.
According to reports, Bach was found deceased in her Hollywood Hills home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. No suicide note was left, and paramedics were called to the scene, who pronounced her dead at the site. The official medical examiner confirmed the cause of death as suicide by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Bach was married to David Hasselhoff from 1989 until their divorce in 2006. They had two daughters together. The couple's relationship was reportedly contentious, with Bach accusing Hasselhoff of domestic abuse.
Hasselhoff acknowledged a video, shot by one of his daughters, that showed him during an alcohol relapse. He denied the abuse allegations at the time. The video led to Hasselhoff temporarily losing visitation privileges with his daughters, but these were later restored after two weeks.
The cause of Bach's death is currently under investigation.
Meanwhile, another Hollywood legend, Raquel Welch, died at the age of 82 after a brief illness. No further details about her illness were provided. David Crosby, a singer-songwriter known for his work with The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, also died at the age of 81. His wife confirmed his death after a long illness.
In a separate incident, a crash involving a Metrolink train in Industry resulted in the deaths of Pamela Gutierrez Guizar and Grecia Garcia Sofia. However, no connection between these deaths and those of Welch and Bach has been established.
Reports are still pending on the cause of death for Gutierrez Guizar and Sofia. A message to David Hasselhoff's representative was not immediately returned.
