Actress Hayden Panettiere divulges the authentic cause for her four-year absence from the film industry.
Thirty-five-year-old Hayden Panettiere, star of shows like Nashville and Heroes, has spilled the beans about her unexpected four-year break from acting. In a candid chat with US Weekly, Panettiere discussed her upcoming flick, A Breed Apart, and revealed the real reason behind her disappearing act.
"I didn't know or plan to, but that's just the way it panned out," Panettiere shared, hinting at the break being unintentional yet necessary.
Expanding on her decision to retreat from the limelight, the talented actress admitted, "I desperately needed it." She further explained, "This all happened organically. It wasn't something I intentionally planned or thought about, but it was what I needed at the time."
