Actress from Lion's Cave finds confidence in her physique, ventures into modeling career.
Janna Ensthaler, a prominent figure in the German economy and a mainstay of the TV show "The Lion's Den," has made an unexpected career move. At the age of 40, the entrepreneur has signed her first modeling contract with MGM Models, a reputable agency based in Hamburg.
The agency, known for its collaborations with luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Dior, confirmed the deal to German publication "Bild." According to Ensthaler, she was approached by MGM Models, who initially spotted her on Instagram.
"Modeling was always a dream of mine," Ensthaler told "Bild." "I've never said yes to anything like this if it didn't speak to my heart."
Born in Hamburg and currently residing in Braunschweig with her husband and three children, Ensthaler has been part of "The Lion's Den" since 2023. She is also a seasoned investor, with over 100 companies under her belt. In 2023, "Manager Magazin" named her one of the 100 most influential women in the German economy.
"I'm in a very good phase of my life," Ensthaler said. "I'm a mother, a wife, and I enjoy taking on new challenges like this. I feel comfortable in front of the camera, and I'm already accustomed to TV cameras from my work on 'The Lion's Den.'"
To maintain her fitness, Ensthaler practices Pilates, strength training, drinks plenty of water, consumes lots of vegetables, and limits her intake of wheat and sugar. However, she does indulge in the occasional pizza.
According to reports, Ensthaler's demand from "renowned clients from both domestic and international markets" is high, but no specific brands she is directly modeling for have been publicly disclosed at this time.
