Leah Remini, Star of "King of Queens," Parts Ways with Spouse After Two Decades

After two decades of marriage, Leah Remini, famed for her role in "King of Queens," and husband Angelo Pagan bid their Goodbyes—the announcement made via an Instagram post. "Commencing a new chapter after 28 years together, we mutually decide to file for divorce," their statement revealed.

This wasn't an easy pick, yet they approach it with optimism, understanding it as the best course for both parties.

Navigating their way through this new phase won't be easy, acknowledged the pair. Nonetheless, they expressed their gratitude for their shared past, emphasizing, "We've traversed many challenges together and shared beautiful memories, particularly in the upbringing of our remarkable daughter."

Their explanation for the split was straightforward: "Despite our strong bond, our union has morphed into an unfamiliar shape." Time had allowed them to grow and adjust to roles that no longer wholly fit them.

Rather than elegizing their marital dissolution, Remini and Pagan celebrate the marriage's longevity. "A lasting marriage of 21 years, replete with cherished memories, and particularly in raising our daughter, is a significant milestone worth commemorating."

Their statement was frank and honest, mirroring their previous openness about their married life on social media. They acknowledge entering new and unexplored territory, vowing, "As we forge ahead, we'll venture into this new phase of our lives, hand in hand with you all."

The couple first crossed paths in a Cuban eatery in Los Angeles in 1996. They exchanged wedding vows in Las Vegas in July 2003, and their daughter Sofia, now 20, was born the following year. Their wedding and daughter's birth were documented in their own reality show.

Even though they delved into the public eye with their marriage and personal life for many years, Remini and Pagan confirmed they'll continue to enjoy jointly partaking in their favorite TV shows.

The evolution of their roles within their relationship led to the decision to file for divorce, yet they remain thankful for the marriage's endurance, particularly the memories crafted during the time spent raising their daughter together.
