In an exclusive chat with the tabloid, "Bild", she confirmed her starring role amidst the cool Icelandic breezes. Yeah, you heard that right – Iceland! Cold Winds, Hot Role
Shooting in Iceland came with its own set of challenges for Burdecki. She had to battle the chilly 5 am dawn calls in early May – not exactly tropical paradise weather. But her excitement won the battle against the frosty mornings, leading to a sleepless pre-shoot eve.
For Burdecki, this role in "Das Traumschiff" isn't just another TV gig; it's a childhood dream come true. She's been watching this show with her mom since she was a kid, and her mom, Teresa (78), has always been a loyal fan since 1981. "When she heard I'd be joining the cast, she couldn't contain her tears of joy," Evelyn shared with laughter.
Childhood Visions, Modern Adventures
Evelyn fondly recalls watching "Das Traumschiff" as a child and being enchanted by the incredible journeys they took. Even though her own family could never afford such high-end trips, it ignited her love for travel which has since blossomed into a passionate hobby.
Main man Captain Max Parger, played by Florian Silbereisen (43), didn't join Burdecki in Iceland, but she's hoping to catch him for a smooch on camera. "Apparently, I've already sent over an application for a steamy scene," she said with a flirty wink. While we don't have the lowdown on the plot yet, we do know her episode will air during the upcoming "Das Traumschiff" season. Just remember, no spoilers!
