Spilling the Tea: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds Celebrate Court's Dismissal of Justin Baldoni's Lawsuit

It seems that the drama revolving around Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds has taken another exciting turn! A source close to the former has revealed that Lively is "obviously relieved" following the dismissal of a $400 million lawsuit filed against her, Reynolds, and others by Justin Baldoni, the director of the film "It Ends With Us."

According to an insider, Blake Lively feels "vindicated" after Judge Lewis J. Liman dropped Baldoni's lawsuit. The source added that Lively "cried with relief" upon learning about the judge's decision. Her lawyers Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb shared similar sentiments, calling the ruling a "total victory and a complete vindication" for Lively and others, including Reynolds, Leslie Sloane, and The New York Times.

The lawsuit, which was initiated in December 2024, included allegations of extortion and defamation against Lively and Reynolds, as well as defamation against The New York Times. The judge found that The New York Times had fairly reported the story based on available evidence, describing the article as possibly dramatized but without an obvious motive to favor Lively's version of events.

Lively's legal team also highlighted that the emails used in the article were tied to a civil rights complaint Blake Lively filed against Baldoni and Wayfarer, further supporting their case.

Although the court's decision is a significant win for Lively and Reynolds, Baldoni has until June 23 to refile some of his claims, specifically those related to breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract.

All in all, it appears that the tables have turned in Lively and Reynolds' favor, with the court dismissing the substantial claims against them. As we move forward, we'll keep you updated on any further developments in this exciting legal saga!
