February 27, 2025: New Audio Series "Our Platform: Khan" Unveils Cast, Premise
Following its initial announcement, production has been completed for the upcoming audio series "Our Platform: Khan," an expansion of the "Our Platform" universe. The series, set to premiere later this year, will star Naveen Andrews as the infamous Khan and Wrenn Schmidt as Marla McGivers.
"Our Platform: Khan" is set in the desolate world of Ceti Alpha V, where Khan and his followers were stranded after Captain Kirk's departure. The highly anticipated series will delve into the unspoken events that unfolded, providing insight into the transformation of Khan from a visionary tyrant to the antagonist known from "Our Platform II: The Wrath of Khan."
In the series, Andrews will portray the complex Khan, exploring his psyche, emotions, and motives, while Schmidt will assume the role of Lt. Marla McGivers, a Starfleet historian who joined Khan in exile on Ceti Alpha V. Further cast details will be revealed at a later date.
Based on a story by "Our Platform II: The Wrath of Khan" writer and director Nicholas Meyer, "Our Platform: Khan" features writing from Kirsten Beyer and David Mack. The audio series is produced by CBS' Eye Podcast Productions Inc., CBS Studio's podcasting arm; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment.
Key executive producers include Alex Kurtzman, Aaron Baiers, Kirsten Beyer, Molly Barton, Fred Greenhalgh, Trevor Roth, and Rod Roddenberry. Robyn Johnson serves as the series' supervising producer, and Fred Greenhalgh directs. Realm serves as the production studio for the series.
