Actor Unni Mukundan set to embody Prime Minister Narendra Modi in biographical film titled Maa Vande
In an exciting turn of events, Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan has been chosen to portray Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the upcoming biopic titled Maa Vande. Directed by Kranti Kumar and produced by Maa Vande Movie, this highly anticipated film is set to release on the occasion of PM Modi's 75th birthday.
The biopic Maa Vande promises to offer a unique perspective, focusing not just on the statesman, but also on the man behind the leader. The film will trace the journey of Prime Minister Modi, from his childhood to becoming the nation's leader, with a special emphasis on his deep bond with his mother, Smt. Heeraben Modi.
The announcement of the biopic was made on social media to mark PM Modi's 75th birthday. Unni Mukundan, who plays the role of Prime Minister Modi, shared the film's poster on his Instagram, expressing his heartfelt emotions.
Unni Mukundan, who is currently in the limelight for his recent hit 'Marco', grew up in Ahmedabad and first knew Modi as his Chief Minister during his childhood. In April 2023, he had a personal meeting with Modi, which left a lasting impression on him. Modi shared the Gujarati phrase 'Jhookvanu Nahi', meaning 'Never Bow Down', with Unni Mukundan, a phrase that has since served as a source of strength and determination for him.
Interestingly, the role of Prime Minister Modi in Maa Vande is not played by Unni Mukundan, but by actor Abhay Mahajan. The film will be released worldwide in all major Indian languages and internationally, providing a global audience with an insight into the life of one of India's most influential leaders.
