Agent Langston Fleury, an original character created specifically for the second season of Peacemaker, is set to make his debut on HBO Max on Thursday, August 21. Played by Tim Meadows, the season will see the A.R.G.U.S. agent tasked with tracking Peacemaker.
Meadows, a longtime comedic actor and former Saturday Night Live cast member, brings a unique touch to the role. His casting was the result of a challenging process, as showrunner James Gunn struggled to find the right actor to embody the character's peculiar traits. After trying several other actors, Gunn ultimately found the perfect fit in Meadows.
One of Meadows' quirks as Agent Fleury is his inability to differentiate between birds, seeing an eagle and a sparrow as the same. This trait is showcased in the new red-band trailer for Peacemaker Season 2, which also reveals that someone spits in Agent Fleury's face.
The second season will introduce a handful of new agents from A.R.G.U.S., including David Denman, Anissa Matlock, Taylor St. Clair, Dorian Kingi, and Brandon Stanley, who will appear in undisclosed roles.
