Actor portraying Kratos in 'God of War' rejects claims of joining the cast for the live-action remake's lineup.

The original God of War games featured the voice of Terrence C. Carson as the brutal warrior Kratos, but in the rebooted 2018 game and its sequel God of War: Ragnarok, Christopher Judge took over the role. Christopher Judge has hinted several times that he'd love to play Kratos in live-action, but there have been conflicting reports about his involvement. In March 2023, Judge criticized rumors that Dave Bautista was in talks to play the part, and more recently, Judge dismissed reports that he is in talks to play the live-action Kratos on social media. The adaptation has faced some changes in creative direction, leading to the departure of original showrunner Rafe Judkins.
