"Slanderous Loser Antics" vs. J.K. Rowling: Pedro Pascal Goes Head-to-Head

Actor Pedro Pascal reportedly considers collaborating with author J.K. Rowling on a new project.

Rowling, the mastermind behind the Harry Potter universe, embraces a court decision disregarding transgender women's rights under the British Equality Act. The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal publicly scolds the author.

Over the years, Rowling, 59, has been a subject of controversy due to her anti-transgender stance, often making statements such as "Trans women are men." In mid-April, she publicly applauded the UK Supreme Court's decision barring transgender women from the women's quota on social media platforms.

Under a photo showcasing her relishing a cigar under a warm sun, she wrote, "When a plan comes together," sparking indignation among LGBTQIA+ activists like Tariq Ra'ouf, who described the post as "pure Voldemort evil shit."

Ra'ouf, who advocates for a boycott of any Harry Potter-related ventures, found support from none other than Pascal, 50. Not only did Pascal show solidarity with Ra'ouf's video, but he also took a jab at Rowling, commenting, "Despicable loser behavior."

For years, Pascal, an outspoken ally of the LGBTQ+ community, has been advocating for transgender rights. In February, he publicly expressed his sentiments, saying, "A world without trans people has never existed and will never exist." When some of his supporters disagreed, he retorted, "I can't think of anything more detestable and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community seeking simply to exist."

Recently, Pascal made a powerful statement at the London premiere of Marvel's Thunderbolts. He sported a T-shirt by designer Conner Ives with the slogan, "Protect the Dolls." In this context, "dolls" refers to transgender women. Other celebrities, such as singers Troye Sivan, Addison Rae, actress Tilda Swinton, and new Tom Ford creative director Haider Ackermann, have also opted to wear the now-popular T-shirt to demonstrate their backing for the transgender community.
