Though cautious, Schreiber does offer a friendly piece of advice, "If I were to say something to a parent struggling with their trans teen, it's: 'Teenagers cause headaches. They're difficult.' It doesn't matter whether they're trans or not, you'll navigate it. But a trans teen is still a teen and can challenge you like Kai does. A fiery, direct challenge!"
Schreiber acknowledges the political attacks on the trans community but stays positive, "I prefer not to focus too much on it. There's enough to worry about in the world as it is. Anxiety and fear should be kept to a minimum."
