She first began experiencing symptoms such as persistent lower back pain, neuropathic itching, and shooting pains in her legs. After an emergency MRI on Thanksgiving Eve last year, an abnormal mass was discovered in her spinal cord.
The actress's battle was not easy. Following a spinal cord biopsy, she lost the use of her right leg and most of her left leg. Despite the challenges, Mack remained open and candid about her condition, helping to raise awareness about this rare form of cancer.
Mack's family announced her passing on social media and health platforms like CaringBridge, describing her final moments as peaceful and surrounded by loved ones in her home in Cincinnati.
