Blimey, it's bloody well exciting news that Icelandic thespian, Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, manage to bag the Best Actor gong at the posh-shoes Brussels Short Film Festival (BSFF) for his swell performance in the flick, O (Hringur).

Directed by Rúnar Rúnarsson and produced by Heather Millard, this short film explores the poetic struggles of a guy who longs for some unique recognition but bumps into his biggest adversary – himself! The film made its city debut at the glitzy Venice Film Festival last year and has been coughing up accolades and wowing audiences ever since.

The announcement of this gleaming award went down in Brussels last night as part of their star-studded closing ceremony. Don't you think it's a bit like what they call blinging it up in the capital?

This isn't even the film's first rodeo when it comes to awards, as it's already picked up a whopping nine gongs!
