Actor Hiya Chatterjee's Durga Puja Memories and Plans
Actor Hiya Chatterjee is eagerly anticipating Durga Puja, a time to reconnect with family and friends, and indulge in her favorite Bengali cuisine. The festival holds special memories for her, including her first saree and late-night pandal hopping.
Chatterjee's fondest memories involve visiting elaborately decorated pandals with her mother and grandmother, and attending lively house parties with friends. Her fashion sense evolved during these celebrations; she started wearing sarees in middle or high school, marking a shift from her childhood love for experimenting with new clothes.
Her favorite Puja dishes include Phuchka, Luchi, Kosha Mangsho, and Chingri Macher Malai Curry. This Durga Puja, she looks forward to spending quality time with family, offering anjali to the goddess, and catching up with friends, although the latter's plans are yet to be confirmed.
Chatterjee's family prefers exploring pandals in north, south, and central Kolkata. Her first solo outing with friends during Durga Puja was to the iconic Mudiali pandal after tuitions. Apart from her personal celebrations, Chatterjee will also be seen on screen this Puja, starring in Rahool Mukherjee's 'Mon Maney Na' alongside Ritwik Bhowmik and Soumya Mukherji.
