- Actor Heike Makatsch receives delivery.
Ain't No One Stealing My Thunder: Heike Makatsch Takes Charge
Irish singer Rea Garvey (51) turned the TV set of "Ain't No One Stealing My Thunder?" into an Irish pub on April 6. "I thought, the first time I win this show, I'll play in an Irish pub, and here we are," he joked at the start of his episode - which he, unfortunately, couldn't defend. Actress Heike Makatsch (53), with her sharp wit, had the upper hand in the end. So, the former VIVA moderator will be back in the hot seat for the next episode on April 13.
Pub Night: "O'Garvey's Trivia & Booze"
Once more, the actual show host Joko Winterscheidt (46) didn't stand a chance. In the ninth season, all three celebrities will have the opportunity to host their own episode of the ProSieben show. Comedian Teddy Teclebrhan (41) kicked off this special privilege.
On April 6, Rea Garvey was up. The singer set the stage ablaze with performances, instruments, and fireworks. He herded the prominent contenders through the audience into the pub. With the theme "O'Garvey's Trivia & Booze," a Wildcard winner also joined in the fun. In the fifth episode, it was Linda from Cologne, a teacher at a school for hearing-impaired children. She aimed to get behind the wheel to host an inclusive episode. Unfortunately, her dream didn't materialize: she was the first to hit the road.
Three in the Running for the Finale
After several rounds, Teclebrhan and, eventually, Winterscheidt bid adieu. Heike Makatsch was far ahead with 65 points, securing three sheep (instead of the traditional coins) for the finale. There, she handily outmaneuvered Garvey in the quiz with her literary acumen. Perhaps her friendship with author Ferdinand Schirach gave her the edge she needed to win.
So, "Who's Stealing Heike Makatsch's Thunder?" will be the theme of the next episode on Sunday, April 13, at 8:15 PM (ProSieben and Joyn).

Fun Fact: Did you know that Heike Makatsch, our reigning queen of quizzes, was featured as a cover star on Vogue Germany in December? Yes, that's right, she's a household name in German media! But alas, there's no information about her hosting a show called "Who's Stealing My Thunder" on ProSieben. Maybe she kept that ace up her sleeve for her winning turn! [1][2]
Heike Makatsch, having secured the finale with 65 points, can be considered a true contender for the title. The comedian Teddy Teclebrhan and Joko Winterscheidt, despite their efforts, will not be competing in the finale. On the contrary, violins might serenade Heike Makatsch in anticipation of her performance in the finale, much like the cover of Vogue Germany she graced in December.
