Actor from Charmed Television Series Loses Battle with Cancer - Actor from the TV show "Charmed" passes away due to cancer

Julian McMahon, the Australian-American actor known for his roles in "Nip/Tuck," "Charmed," and "Fantastic Four," passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 56, following a private struggle with cancer.

McMahon's career spanned over three decades, with his early beginnings in Australian television soaps such as "The Power, The Passion" and "Home and Away." He then moved to the United States, where he landed a significant role on the American soap opera "Another World" as Ian Rain, marking his big break in Hollywood.

His breakthrough mainstream fame came with the role of Cole Turner, a half-demon, on the supernatural drama "Charmed" from 2000 to 2003. This was followed by his starring role as Dr. Christian Troy, a charismatic and complex plastic surgeon, on the medical drama "Nip/Tuck" from 2003 to 2010.

Parallel to his TV success, McMahon appeared in several films, notably playing the villainous Victor Von Doom in the "Fantastic Four" films in 2005 and 2007. Other film credits include "Chasing Sleep" (2000), "Premonition" (2007) alongside Sandra Bullock, "Red" (2010) with Bruce Willis, "Faces in the Crowd" (2011), and "Bait 3D" (2012).

After "Nip/Tuck," McMahon continued to act in various television projects, including "Marvel's Runaways" and "FBI: Most Wanted," maintaining a steady presence on screen until his passing in 2025.

McMahon was previously married to Kylie Minogue's sister, Dannii Minogue, from 1994 to 1995. He was also married to "Baywatch" actress Brooke Burns from 1999 to 2001. His third wife, Kelly Paniagua, announced his death to the industry website Deadline. Kelly described him as having "fought bravely" against cancer.

McMahon's daughter, Madison Elizabeth McMahon, is 25 years old. His last public appearance was on the red carpet on March 10, 2025, in Austin, Texas.

Julian McMahon's wife at the time of his death was Kelly Paniagua, not Kylie Minogue or Brooke Burns. McMahon directed episodes of the CBS crime series "FBI: Most Wanted" before stepping down from the show in January 2022.

I'm not gonna be able to watch all of Julian McMahon's inspiring entertainment projects, given his extensive filmography and serial acts in TV shows like "Nip/Tuck," "Charmed," "Fantastic Four," and many others. It's quite unfortunate that this talented celebrity, known for his portrayal of complex characters, passed away, leaving a hollow void in the entertainment industry.
