Stranger Things Star, Finn Wolfhard, couldn't shake off a familiar face during their joint shoot with Willem Dafoe. "In the initial days, it was bloody difficult not to picture the Spider-Man scoundrel whenever I looked at him," Wolfhard confessed to People magazine about their film collaboration. Dafoe, portraying the daunting villain Norman Osborn, has a notable rivalry with the web-slinging superhero.

But you know who didn't play the villain in this movie? That's right! The duo paired up for the film, The Legend of Ochi, currently gracing our cinema screens. And at 69, Dafoe still managed to leave a lasting impression on Wolfhard. "His voice was almost surreal, making me exclaim, 'Holy crap, he's the real deal!'" the 22-year-old admitted. Dafoe's iconic voice and awe-inspiring acting talents are the stuff of legends, no pun intended.

These two had some deep conversations, filling hours with artist talk. "I grilled him about his stint as a theater actor in New York during the wild '70s and '80s. Swiped some wisdom from that era, and it was a total blast!" Wolfhard shared. The younger actor was keen on absorbing Dafoe's vast experience and unique artistic journey. "In my eyes, he's been a guy who's always treated acting as a fine art," Wolfhard added.

So, what did Wolfhard learn from his chat with the industry veteran? Well, he discovered that acting, for Dafoe, is much more than just a profession—it's an art form. He saw firsthand the level of dedication and commitment required to make art in the realm of acting. And who knows, better conversations and lessons might be on the way as these talented actors continue to collaborate.
