Heidi Klum rejoins 'Project Runway' for its return to US television screens following an eight-year absence, set to air on Freeform starting July 31. The German supermodel, who previously hosted the successful designer competition show from 2004 to 2017, shared with People magazine that she felt as if she had returned home upon resuming her hosting role.

Klum, who was nominated for an Emmy nine times and won in 2013 along with her co-host Tim Gunn, will be joined by familiar faces and new judges for season 21. Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, Law Roach, and Christian Siriano will join her in critiquing the up-and-coming designers' creations. Siriano, a Project Runway alum and established designer, replaces Gunn, who will not be returning this season.

Klum showcased her passion for fashion and excitement for the new season on the red carpet at the American Music Awards, hinting at a focus on grandiose gowns with captivating trains. The season will consist of ten episodes, airing weekly and available for streaming on Hulu and Disney+ after the initial broadcast.
