Actor Dean Cain publicly discusses brief and passionate relationship with Pamela Anderson
In a recent interview published on July 29, 2022, actor Dean Cain reminisced about his brief romance with actress Pamela Anderson in 1993. The pair, who met during the height of their respective careers, were together for six months before parting ways.
Cain, best known for his role as Superman in the television series "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman," shared that Anderson wanted to be with a "rock-star kind of guy," and that's not who he was.
Fast forward to the present, and Cain has never been married. He is, however, the godfather of Samantha Torres' 14-year-old twins. Cain and Torres dated briefly after his split with Anderson, but their relationship ended due to disagreements about marriage after a pregnancy out of wedlock.
Anderson, on the other hand, has had a more colourful romantic history. She married Tommy Lee in 1995 and the pair had sons Brandon Thomas and Dylan Jagger in 1996 and 1997, respectively. The couple split in 1998. Anderson later married Kid Rock in 2006 but they split in 2007. She also married Rick Salomon twice - from 2007 to 2008, and again from 2014 to 2015. Her 2020 wedding to Jon Peters was not legally binding and they split less than two weeks later.
As of mid-2025, Anderson's current partner is Liam Neeson. The pair, who met on a film set, have not officially confirmed their relationship, but insiders have reported their romance.
Cain, reflecting on his past, shared that he has fond memories of his time with Anderson. Despite the challenges that followed their split, he remains respectful and appreciative of the time they spent together.
In a separate matter, Cain's parents were upset about his decision not to marry Torres before welcoming their son, Christopher. Cain later sued for joint custody of Christopher, spending $1.5 million, and was eventually awarded joint custody. Torres made visitations with Christopher difficult for Cain, but he remains committed to maintaining a strong relationship with his son.
Despite the ups and downs of his personal life, Cain continues to focus on his career and his role as a father. His fans look forward to seeing what the future holds for this talented actor.
