Actor Amber Heard is reportedly seeking opportunities for a Hollywood comeback following her legal dispute with previous partner, Johnny Depp. After her 2022 legal loss against the 66-year-old actor, Heard has been living in Madrid, Spain.

Sources close to the actress have suggested that she is actively pursuing film roles to revive her career. According to an insider, Heard's return to acting will only materialize if it adheres to her specific terms.

"Amber is navigating a difficult situation at the moment as there's evident interest in her re-entering the acting industry, but it's not a viable solution if it doesn't align with her conditions," the source divulged to In Touch.

Apart from revealing her contractual requirements, the insider shared, "She has specific conditions for her return and is only considering it when it involves a project in which she holds significant influence over critical decisions concerning production, marketing, and distribution."

The source added that this is the first time Heard is taking a more assertive stance regarding her future in filmmaking and requesting a substantial degree of control.

The insider elaborated, "While she wants nothing to do with Johnny, she seems to be taking a page from his playbook by demanding a key role in deciding how films are produced and presented to the public."

According to reports, Heard aims to emulate the level of control Depp has over his film projects, aspiring to take on a producer-like role to gain influence over the development, marketing strategies, and release plans of the projects she is involved in. However, industry insiders mentioned that Hollywood producers are reportedly not universally receptive to her demands to call the shots regarding every aspect of her projects.

It's worth noting that Depp sued Heard for defamation in 2018, following an opinion article she wrote about domestic violence. Ultimately, a Virginia jury awarded Depp $15 million in damages, with Heard receiving $2 million.

Heard's conditions for her return to acting appear to be specific and demanding, as she aims to emulate Depp's level of control over his film projects and take on a producer-like role in the projects she is involved in. This new assertive stance regarding her future in filmmaking could potentially shape the entertainment industry's perception of Heard, deeply rooted in her legal battle with Depp over an opinion article about domestic violence.
