The woman, aged 30, filed a complaint with the Charkop Police in Mumbai, accusing Ajaz Khan of raping her. He's been charged under several sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for rape, based on her complaint.

An FIR has been registered against Ajaz Khan and the show's producer for including obscene language and acts that objectify women. Scenes in the series allegedly showed Khan asking female contestants to disrobe and pose intimately with male participants, sparking widespread outrage.
In response to the backlash, the National Commission for Women (NCW) called both Ajaz Khan and Ullu app CEO Vibhu Agrawal to appear before them. As a result, all episodes of 'House Arrest' were removed from the Ullu app. Both cases are still under investigation.
