Activities at the Local Recreation Grounds
Neuss, Germany - The city of Neuss is set to launch a new and exciting fitness program called "Sport in the Park" starting from June 1st. The program will run for three months, until August 31st, and will offer a variety of sports activities for the community.
The program will be held in various parks and facilities across the city, including Südpark, Stadtgarden, Nordpark, and Allerheiligen. Each sports unit will last one hour, and the program is available seven days a week, including holidays and summer vacation.
On Saturday mornings at 9 am, you can join the "Fit Mix" class in Südpark. For those seeking functional training, head over to the district sports facility in Hoisten on Saturdays at 11 am. On Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm, a stretching workout is offered in Stadtgarden, while water sports enthusiasts can enjoy Stand-Up-Paddling and Canoeing at 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
If you're interested in general health sports, they are offered on Tuesdays at 10 am in Südpark, with Pilates available in Stadtgarten at 5 pm and general fitness training at the Teletubbie playground in Allerheiligen at 6 pm.
On Fridays at 6 pm, you can unwind with a session of Yoga in Stadtgarten. On Thursdays, Qi-Gong is offered in Nordpark at 9:30 am, and Functional Training is available at 6 pm in Norf at the Eichenallee.
On Monday mornings at 10 am, you can choose from "Get fit and stay fit" in Nordpark, Yoga in Südpark, and XCO-Walking at 6:30 pm in Jahnstadion. On Sundays at 10 am, "Back fit" is offered in Südpark.
