In a turn of events, environmental activist Greta Thunberg and her fellow activists aboard the "Madleen" were taken into Israeli custody. Rumors circulate that they might be jetting off from Tel Aviv tonight. This development came after the Israeli Navy intercepted the vessel, sailing towards the contentious area of the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that "The 'Selfie-Yacht' of the 'Promis'" had now docked in Israel. This ship's scant aid supplies, which somehow didn't make it to the Gaza Strip, will be channeled through official aid routes instead. Footage released by the Ministry shows the activists sporting bright orange life vests.

Setting sail from Sicily over a week ago, the "Freedom Flotilla's" sailing vessel aimed to break through the Israeli naval blockade and deliver aid to the Gaza Strip. Thunberg, no stranger to pro-Palestinian protests, was part of this mission.

Regardless of the ongoing Gaza Strip conflict, Israel maintains a stringent marine blockade of Palestinian territories, initiated in 2007 in response to Hamas seizing control. This measure is also backed by Egypt, situated to the south of the coastal strip. The objective is to hinder weapon supplies to Hamas.
