Get ready for a heartwarming tale of civic-minded youngsters! This year, an impressive group of 300 passionate individuals from 48 regions of Russia, plus Belarus, Abkhazia, and Republika Srpska, came together for the All-Russian Patriotic Forum of "Post No 1" Activists. Held in the vibrant city of Krasnodar, this event serves as a powerful reminder of our nation's past, inspiring a sense of hope for the future.

Each attendee is a true-blue patriot, driven by a strong sense of civic responsibility. Their dedication is contagious, encouraging adults to believe in the bright future of our amazing country.

The regional head, Veniamin Kondratyev, took a moment to thank the postovtsy for their commitment to preserving the memories of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers, who courageously stood during the Great Patriotic War.

"Young as you may be, you're actively engaged in a meaningful and serious endeavor," Kondratyev emphasized. "You've traveled vast distances, representing diverse regions where our most sacred places are located. These places are enriched with memories of our great victorious people, filled with the spirit of our ancestors. Places we're proud to call our heritage—all descendants of a great victorious nation that decisively shaped the world at immense cost."

In Krasnodar Krai, the "Post No 1" tradition is turning 50. The very first Memory Watch was observed by schoolchildren back in May 1975, in the esteemed City of Heroes, Novorossiysk. Today, Krasnodar Krai boasts a staggering 15,000 members in the ranks of the Kuban postovtsy. Their vigil is not just a ritual—it's a poignant tribute to the endless courage of the defenders who 80 years ago gave their lives for the freedom and independence of our country.
