Magadan, Russia, is set to host a series of exciting events as part of the 'Patriotic Action 'Strength in Truth - 2025'. This multi-faceted programme, taking place on August 9, promises to engage residents and visitors of all ages with a variety of sports, cultural, and educational activities.
Sports Events

On August 9, a sports and health program "All to the Start" will take place as part of the Day of Physical Culture at City Park. A marine infantry demonstration of hand-to-hand combat techniques will occur at "Beacon" Park.
On August 10, a tournament "Don't be lazy, get healthy!" (12+) will take place on the Day of Physical Culture at Magadan Regional Children's Library. A tabletop game club "Token" and "Movie Club" (12+) will also take place at the same location.
An ethno-festival "Kychvokych Bolit" (All Ages) will take place at Ola Village on August 9.
In addition to these events, Magadan Park will host a grand fireworks display at 22:00, a weightlifting competition "People's Lift" at 13:00, and a thematic block of the "Magadan Hiking" exhibition dedicated to the Day of the Sea of Okhotsk from 12:00 to 18:00. A video screening "Name on the Map" and the eponymous exhibition of portraits of Cossacks and navigators - discoverers of the North-East by artist V.V. Myaagkov (12+) will also take place.
The official opening ceremony of the event will take place at "Beacon" Park at 12:00. Later in the day, a concert by the Pacific Fleet Song and Dance Ensemble, Kamchatka Border Ensemble, and local creative groups will take place at the same location at 16:30.
