Action unfolds in Alaska in the official trailer for 'The Last Frontier'
Apple TV+ has added a new title to its roster with the release of The Last Frontier, a gripping original drama set in the rugged barrens of Alaska. The series, produced by Jon Bokenkamp and Richard D'Ovidio, premiered on October 10.
Jason Clarke, known for his roles in films such as Zero Dark Thirty and Mudbound, stars as Frank Remnick, a lone U.S. marshal in charge of a quiet jurisdiction in Alaska. The series follows Remnick as he grapples with a prison transport plane crash that sets free dozens of violent inmates.
The crash, suspected to be part of a well-crafted plan, has far-reaching and devastating implications. The series, directed by Sam Hargrave, takes viewers on a thrilling journey as Remnick and a diverse cast, including Dominic Cooper, Haley Bennett, Simone Kessell, Dallas Goldtooth, Tait Blum, and Alfre Woodard, work to contain the chaos unleashed by the crash.
The cast is joined by Clarke himself, who also serves as an executive producer for the show. Sam Hargrave, renowned for his work as the series episodic director, brings a dynamic visual style to the series, making each of the ten episodes a must-watch.
New episodes of The Last Frontier will drop weekly on Apple TV+, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats as they follow the story unfold. With its remote wilderness setting, complex characters, and high-stakes plot, The Last Frontier promises to be a thrilling addition to Apple TV+'s original drama lineup.
