New and Uncensored Take on the ACM Awards 2017
For the 52nd time, the prestigious Academy of Country Music Awards rolled out the red carpet, and celebrities like Jason Aldean and Luke Bryan weren't shy in attending. But it was Aldean who outshone the competition, snatching the coveted title of "Entertainer of the Year."
Bryan and his co-host, Dierks Bentley, came back to host the awards show for the second year in a row. The dynamic duo kept the evening entertaining, and even had the Backstreet Boys rocking the stage.
But it was Aldean who stole the spotlight in his acceptance speech, expressing his gratitude to his fans and expressing his love for his passion. "I'm so thankful," Aldean humbly said. "I love waking up every day and doing this."
Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert took home the award for "Female Vocalist of the Year," clearly dominating the country music scene. Other notable winners included Thomas Rhett as "Male Vocalist of the Year" and Brothers Osborne as "Vocal Duo of the Year."
