The Eisbären Berlin are gearing up for the upcoming Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL) season, with their sights set on a third consecutive title. Captain Kai Wissmann, known for his defensive prowess and leadership qualities, has outlined key objectives for the team.

The Eisbären Berlin squad has remained largely unchanged in the summer, with the addition of two experienced DEL professionals, Andreas Eder (29) and Markus Vikingstad (25), who have replaced some departed players such as Zach Boychuk, Gabriel Fontaine, and Olivivier Galipeau. Andreas Eder, brother of the late Tobias Eder, has taken Tobias' place in the Eisbären Berlin locker room.

Coach Serge Aubin is satisfied with the current squad and emphasizes the challenge of repeating the team's achievements, stating it requires a special group of people and a special attitude.
