Let's get straight to it! A 36-year-old individual is currently standing trial at the Osnabrueck Regional Court, accused of pulling off a string of ATM explosions across Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Rhineland-Palatinate. The charges include complicity in the destruction of four ATMs, resulting in a mind-blowing €330,000 in cash and considerable damage to the surrounding establishments.

The unraveling of the trial started with the presentation of the indictment. The defendant has kept mum on the allegations, as reported by the court's spokesperson. Five further trial dates are marked on the calendar.

Scenes of the Crime

The detonated ATMs were unearthed in Ganderkesee (Oldenburg), Hilkenbrook (Emsland), Arnsberg (North Rhine-Westphalia), and Niederzissen (Rhineland-Palatinate). The explosions took place between April 2022 and June 2023. The suspect is currently in custody, indicted for severe robbery and causing an explosion. Unfortunately, the other perpetrators remain at large.
