Israeli weapons remnants, allegedly employed in the Gazan massacre, were reported by Emmanuel Daoud, legal representative of LDH, in his complaint.

Shedding Light on a Controversial Issue: The Allegations Against Eurolinks

In a bold move, the Human Rights League (LDH) filed a complaint on June 11, as reported by our site and Le Monde, against Marseille-based company Eurolinks. The complaint accuses Eurolinks of supplying Israel with machine gun parts, a matter that sparked intense debate and protest. Last week, dockworkers in Marseille blocked a shipment of these military components, refusing to participate in a potential conflict.

The complaint, which our site obtained, accuses Eurolinks of providing detached parts to IMI Systems, an Israeli company that produces components for automatic weapons. According to LDH lawyer, Emmanuel Daoud, these parts were used in the massacre of the Gazan population. He stressed, "They are used against the entire Gazan population, because the Israeli army is trivial: it shoots into the crowd." Since November 2023, it has been reported that there's been no distinction between civilians, including women, children, and the elderly in these alleged incidents.

The Minister of Armed Forces Dismisses the Allegations

In a Senate hearing, the Minister of Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu, disputed these assertions. Emphatically denying any French weapon sales to Israel, he stated, "There is no sale of French weapons to Israel." He further emphasized the harm caused by these disinformation campaigns. According to his entourage, these detached parts are legally required to be returned to France once they've been assembled in Israel. The Ministry of Armed Forces reports that the sale of military material to Israel represents only 0.2% of their yearly sales.

In light of the controversy, the government decided to release the list of components of military equipment supplied to the Israeli army earlier than planned. Originally scheduled for September 2025, the list will now be declassified three months early. This move demonstrates the government's commitment to transparency amidst the ongoing investigation.

Supporting Evidence:

  • Investigative Reports: Findings from investigative outlets like Disclose and Marsactu in March 2024 suggested France had approved the delivery of small metal parts used to link machine gun bullets to Israel in October 2023. These components were allegedly sold by Eurolinks to IMI Systems, an Israeli defense group subsidiary.
  • Dockworkers' Refusal: French dockworkers at the port of Marseille-Fos refused to load cargo containing machine gun parts destined for Israel in June 2025. This refusal was based on opposition to being complicit in war crimes in Gaza, indicating a planned shipment.
  • Progressive International Report: A report by Progressive International revealed a sustained flow of French-made weapons to Israel during its military actions in Gaza, including machine gun accessories. This report highlighted the ongoing supply of military components during Israeli attacks.
  • Legal Action: The LDH has begun legal action against Eurolinks, IMI Systems, and other potential accomplices, alleging complicity in war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide. This legal action is based on the suspected supply of French automatic weapon components to Israel.

In the wake of the controversy, the Minister of Armed Forces, Sébastien Lecornu, has dismissed the allegations against Eurolinks, stating that there are no French weapon sales to Israel. However, investigative reports from Disclose and Marsactu in March 2024 suggested that France had approved the delivery of small metal parts used for machine gun bullets to Israel. Furthermore, the Progressive International Report revealed a sustained flow of French-made weapons to Israel during its military actions in Gaza, including machine gun accessories.
