Following the premiere of "Perfectly Missed" in August 2024, the long-time collaborators announced their return to Prime Video. This time, they'll share the screen as the lovebirds Maria and Ralf, happily inseparable now after the ups and downs of romantic misunderstandings in their small hamlet of Marburg. Perfect Together promises to bring an array of unpredictable, bizarre, and jaw-dropping twists and turns as the couple attempts to navigate their daily lives, hand in hand.
Engelke and Pastewka will also reprise their roles as executive producers for this highly anticipated sequel.

Engelke and Pastewka's collaborative history goes way back to the early days of Die Wochenshow (1996-2002), where they first met and kicked off their partnership. Engelke also made appearances in Pastewka's solo series "Pastewka" (2005-2020). With such a storied past, it's no surprise to find them continuing their magic on Prime Video.
While they haven't decided to revive the beloved Wolfgang and Anneliese folk music duo for Perfect Together, Engelke hinted that a reunion coup might be Looming on the horizon with a casual, "Whaddaya say, "Servus, it's going well!"" prompting a knowing nod from Pastewka.
