Acclaimed author Ottessa Moshfegh pens a collection of short stories featuring Carey Mulligan for Prada's literary project
Prada is set to host in-store events in four international cities as part of the celebration for the limited-edition book, 'Ten Protagonists'. The cities include Mila, Paris, Tokyo, and London. You can find these 'events near me' by searching online or checking Prada's official website.
The book, which will be collated in a limited-edition format, features ten short stories written by American author Ottessa Moshfegh. Moshfegh, based in Pasadena, California, is an avid collector of vintage clothing and has previously contributed to Proenza Schouler and walked the runway for Maryam Nassir Zadeh.
Each character in 'Ten Protagonists' has a name and a unique occupation. Characters such as 'Patricia', 'Fanny', and 'Alina' are depicted as programmers, photographers, and corporate translators, among others.
The collection, which comprises 49 radically different looks, spanning Prada eras and rejecting tidy thematics, was presented by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons under the title 'A Prada for every individual'.
Carey Mulligan starred in a campaign for the S/S 2025 collection, with each image depicting a different character from the book.
The S/S 2025 campaign, titled 'Acts Like Prada', was conceived as a companion to the A/W 2021 campaign, 'Feels Like Prada'.
Interestingly, the book for Prada's S/S 2025 campaign was not written by Moshfegh, but by the author Fernanda Melchor.
The in-store events for the limited-edition book 'Ten Protagonists' will provide an opportunity for fans and enthusiasts to immerse themselves in the world created by Moshfegh and Prada. The events will take place in the four cities mentioned above, offering a unique and exclusive experience for all.
So, mark your calendars for these exciting 'events near me' in Mila, Paris, Tokyo, and London. The limited-edition book 'Ten Protagonists' promises to be a fascinating read, offering a glimpse into the lives of these intriguing characters.
