Early Tuesday morning, an unfortunate incident took place on the A7 between Homberg (Efze) and Bad Hersfeld West. Four trucks were involved in a collision, with initial reports suggesting a rear-end collision between two trucks on the slippery road. Two other trucks drove over debris and were damaged as a result. Fortunately, only one passenger sustained minor injuries.
The police are currently overseeing the recovery efforts, leading to a full closure of the southbound direction of the A7. This has resulted in traffic disruptions in the Hesse region. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
