Get ready to jam out, North Rhine-Westphalia! RADIO NRW GmbH is throwing a music extravaganza for all local radio listeners in the region. With an average of 1.454 million listeners per hour (source: ma 2025 Audio I, basis: German-speaking population aged 14 and above), there's no denying the power of RADIO NRW and the NRW local radios. But not all stations will join in the fun, so don't miss out!
Check the Fine Print Before You Rock!
Before you start shaking that tailfeather, it's essential to take note of the contest rules. Here's a quick rundown:
- Who Can Participate?Only adult folks can enter the competition. Minors are strictly forbidden from participating. RADIO NRW reserves the right to verify the age before prize distribution. No prizes will be given to minors.
- Who Can't Join the Party?Employees of the national audio market leader, RADIO NRW, as well as the employees of the NRW local radios and their immediate family members, life partners, and anyone associated with the contest's implementation, are not eligible to participate.
- When's the Party?The competition will take place from June 23, 2025, to July 4, 2025, during the weekdays (excluding public holidays), between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. RADIO NRW reserves the right to end the competition without warning.
- How to Rock Out?To enter the competition, give RADIO NRW a call at the designated phone number. The call will cost you 14 cents from all German networks (landline and mobile).
- The Game's On! during the early and morning shows of the respective local station, they'll hide three different music titles that belong to the "Hit Vault" action. You'll need to remember the title or artist for each of the three hidden tunes. Once the third tune is presented, a call signal will alert the contestants to dial the hotline. Leave your name and contact number, and you might just win 1x2 tickets for the AC/DC concert on July 8 in Düsseldorf! Cash payments and ticket resales are a big no-no.
A Few Important Things to Note
- If you're not listening to the stations via UKW or cable, there could be a delay of up to 15 seconds due to technical issues, which could affect your chances of winning.
- The telephone service provider sets up the telephone platform for RADIO NRW GmbH. Callers reaching the platform via the announced phone number during the broadcast times will be able to register for the contest round. Overflow calls will receive a busy signal, so be patient!
- Each round can be recorded shortly before the broadcast, with the option for edits for dramatic effect. One winner can be selected per round, and each round can be recorded before broadcast.
- Winners' names and conversations might be broadcast in the program ( Based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or be used in audio, photo/image/video, and/or text promotions across radio and online channels.
