Chillin' with RADIO NRW's Hit-Tresor Contest
Get ready to rock, folks! Here in the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, we're whipping up a killer tunes showdown known as the Hit-Tresor competition. Nearly 1.5 million listeners from all our local radios stations can't wait to join the party, and you should too!
But don't worry, this ain't a Facebook or Google gig. Our contest is a standalone event organized by RADIO NRW GmbH. So, no need to fret about your data ending up somewhere you don't want it.
How to Play the Game
Hop on the phone and call the number 01371 - 36 50 50. A call costs 14 cents from all German networks. Tune into your favorite local radio station's early and morning shows, and pay attention. Between 6 AM to 9 AM and 10 AM to 2 PM, we'll be hiding three hit tracks with the "Hit-Tresor" marking. Recall them, and you'll be in the running to win 1x2 tickets for the AC/DC concert in Düsseldorf on July 8!
Remember, if you're tuning in via livestream, online, or mobile devices, there might be a 10 to 15-second delay. That could affect your chances, so keep that in mind.
Rules of the Game
- Only adults (18+) can join the fun. Minors aren't allowed to participate. Remember, we'll need to verify ages before handing out the prizes.
- Our employees, employees of the NRW local radios, their families, and anyone else working on the action are ineligible to play.
- The action goes down from June 23 to July 4, Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. We reserve the right to end the game at any time without warning.
- To join, just call our hotline during the game times. The line opens as soon as the third title has run in the broadcast, and closes before the 9 AM or 13 PM or 2 PM news. Leave your name and callback number on the telephone platform, and a lucky duck gets a call back.
- Answer all three track questions correctly, and bam! You're our winner. No cash payments, and please don't resell the tickets.

Participants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority (The State Commissioner for Data Protection North Rhine-Westphalia) in the event of violations of data protection law.
Behind the Scenes
Our service provider sets up a telephone platform for RADIO NRW GmbH. Registered callers are selected at random for the current round of the game and called back by a game leader. There's a maximum of one winner per round, and each round can be recorded shortly before broadcasting. RADIO NRW reserves the right to edit the round for dramatic reasons.
We also like to record winners' calls and broadcast them in the program. Trust us, it's all in the name of effective external presentation and entertainment (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR).
Data Protection
When you join, you agree that we'll store your necessary personal data (name, first name, telephone number) for the duration of the contest and only use it for finding the winner and processing your win. Your data will be deleted after the contest ends, and we won't share it with anyone else. You have the right to request information about your data at any time.
