Abi Webster and Kevin call it quits on Coronation Street!
In the latest episode of Coronation Street, airing on Wednesday, 24th September at 8pm, Abi Webster shocks the community by announcing her intention to end her marriage to Kevin. The news has left Kevin feeling uneasy about their future, especially when he mentions growing old together.
Meanwhile, Abi Franklin expresses her own unease about the situation, meeting with Carl and expressing her discontent with leading a double life and lying to Kevin. Becky, on the other hand, calls Carla and suggests it would be best for everyone if she pretends to be dead again.
Elsewhere, Kevin receives a clean bill of health during his cancer check at the hospital, a relief for everyone involved. However, the peace is short-lived as Bernie plans to expose Naomi at the careers fair. Bernie intends to use Naomi's laptop to show a video revealing Naomi's abuse toward Asha, a paramedic and woman of colour. The video is expected to shock the audience, causing Naomi to announce she is suing Bernie for defamation afterward.
Naomi denies the allegations and warns Asha against making unfounded allegations. However, Asha stands firm, reminding Naomi of a past incident where she was abused and spat upon. This confrontation takes place at a hotel, where Dev had persuaded Asha to have lunch, only for her to encounter Naomi there.
The tension doesn't stop there as Todd is puzzled by Theo's reaction to the news about Noah. Theo listens in on Todd's conversation with Maria, his face darkening, suggesting there might be more to the story than meets the eye. Todd hurries away, upset by the conversation.
In a separate development, Fiz expresses strain with Tyrone, given his current hospitalization. Theo's and Todd's personal lives seem to be intertwining with the drama on the street, as they both grapple with their own issues.
The next episode of Coronation Street airs on Friday, 26th September at 8pm, promising more twists and turns in the ongoing saga.
