Aave's Horizon Surpasses $1B in Real-World Asset Deposits Amid Record Revenue

Aave's decentralised finance platform has reached a major milestone with real-world asset deposits on Aave Horizon exceeding $1 billion. The figure marks a rapid rise, doubling since January. Meanwhile, the platform's governance body, Aave DAO, reported record revenue in 2025.

Aave Horizon's growth in real-world asset deposits hit $1 billion on 19 February. This followed a sharp increase, with deposits doubling since the start of the year.

The platform also demonstrated resilience in volatile conditions. Between 31 January and 5 February, Aave processed over $450 million in liquidations. Despite the high volume, no bad debt was recorded.

Financial performance for Aave DAO improved significantly in 2025. Revenue reached $142 million, surpassing the combined total of the previous three years. On the trading side, Aave's token price stood at $123 at press time, showing a modest 0.6% gain over 24 hours. Over the past week, the token climbed 10%, though it remains 21% lower than its value a month ago.

Market activity showed mixed signals. Spot trading volume fell by 21% in the last day, indicating a slight cooldown. However, derivatives markets saw a 2.53% increase in open interest, reaching $203 million. Traders continue to watch the $135 level as a key threshold for a confirmed upward trend.

Aave Horizon's real-world asset deposits now stand above $1 billion, while Aave DAO's revenue hit a new high. The platform's ability to manage large liquidations without bad debt highlights its operational strength. With trading activity fluctuating and price levels still under pressure, market participants remain focused on whether the token can break past $135.
