Aaron Sorkin's 'The Social Reckoning' Set for October 2026 Release

Aaron Sorkin is set to direct and produce 'The Social Reckoning', a sequel to his 2010 film 'The Social Network'. The movie, which will hit theatres on October 9, 2026, stars Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, Jeremy Strong, and Bill Burr. It follows a young Facebook engineer and a Wall Street Journal reporter.

Sorkin, who also directed 'The Social Network', returns to helm 'The Social Reckoning'. He will be joined by producers Todd Black, Peter Rice, and Stuart Besser. The film's release is strategically timed for the awards season.

The cast includes Mikey Madison, known for her role in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', Jeremy Allen White from 'Shameless', Jeremy Strong of 'Succession', and comedian Bill Burr.
